Netia recertified under ISO 27001, with confirmed cloud security
Netia has successfully undergone the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 recertification process and obtained additional confirmation of compliance with ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 27018 standards which confirm that the cloud, collocation, and cybersecurity services meet the latest regulatory requirements, including those resulting from the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
Netia has successfully completed the recertification audit of its information security management system, obtaining confirmation of compliance with the latest version of the international ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. The certificate confirms that Netia’s collocation, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions meet the current stringent requirements for information protection.
As part of its ongoing efforts to raise security standards, the company has also obtained ISO/IEC 27017 certificate for best practices in cloud security and ISO/IEC 27018 certificate for personal data protection in the public cloud environments.
Compliance with certification requirements reduces the risk of unauthorized access, data loss, and security incidents thanks to effective and proven information security management processes. It also ensures transparency and compliance with regulations, including GDPR requirements, which is crucial when processing personal data in the cloud.
“Renewed and obtained certificates are not just formal documents, but real asset and value that we offer our customers,” said Janusz Figurski, certification project leader at Netia.
"Thanks to them, our customers can be sure that when using services such as Netia Compute (public cloud), dedicated servers, collocation, and numerous cybersecurity services, led by the Security Operations Center, they receive solutions that comply with the latest international standards, which is particularly important for entities operating in a regulated environment, such as the financial, insurance, and telecommunications sectors, covered by, among others, the DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act),” added Janusz Figurski.
